ARTIFACT:

This is a very early enameled Chevrolet watch fob, in the shape of the Chevrolet "bowtie", which was legendarily copied in 1908 from wallpaper in a French hotel.
VINTAGE:Circa 1910s.
SIZE:Approximately 13/16" in height and 1-3/4" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Plated brass with enameled details.
ATTACHMENT:Rectangular loop.
MARKINGS:AMERICAN EMB. CO. UTICA N.Y. with AE maker's mark.
