Description
This is a Nice, Ca1950's Boston Police Series 7 Brinks / Clamshell / Sunburst Radiator Badge. Scarce, early 1950's Boston, Massachusetts Police Patrolman Badge. The breast badge reads: "POLICE BOSTON" and in the center disc depicts a port and below it reads: "BOSTONIA CONDITA AD. 1630", around the disc embossed letters read: "SICUT CIVITATIS REGIMINE DONATA AD 1822 PATRIBUS SIT DEUS NOBIS" and is numbered #5073 on reverse.
VINTAGE:Circa 1950's.
SIZE:Approximately: 2 7/8" in height x 2 3/16" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:chrome-plated brass.
ATTACHMENT:Vertical kick pin with drop in locking catch.
