ARTIFACT:

This is a Nice Circa 1936 - 1941 San Diego County Special Deputy Sheriff Badge #A-66 by Cal Stamp Co.

VINTAGE:

Circa 1941.

SIZE:

Approximately 2-11/16" in height x 2-3/16" in width.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Nicely struck in Nickel plated Nickel.

MARKINGS:

Marked "DORT" on back, for Sheriff Ernest W. Dort, who was Sheriff of San Diego County from 1936-1941, and "CAL. STAMP CO."

ITEM NOTES:

CONDITION:

9 (Excellent - Near Mint): This badge is in excellent condition. Nicely patinated on back, but near mint on front.
