Description
Thisa is a NH Turnpike Patrol Badge. The New Hampshire Turnpike Patrol was started in 1947 for x000D the new 15 mile four lane US Route 1 bypass limited access highway from the x000D Massachusetts state line to the Maine border through New Hampshire. The x000D Turnpike Patrol was dissolved in the early 1970's when the "turnpike" x000D became part of the Eisenhower Interstate System Route 95 and patrol was taken x000D over by the New Hampshire State Police. This badge would be an excellent x000D addition to any State Police / Highway Patrol badge collection.
