This is a wonderful, near mint circa early Korean War United States Army 24th Division Air Section jacket patch. The patch is Japanese-made, and reads FIRST IN KOREA over a missile-throwing grasshopper straddling a plane (an L-4 Grasshopper).
VINTAGE:Circa early Korean War.
SIZE:Approximately 4-15/16" in diameter.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Fully embroidered in cotton/silk thread.
ATTACHMENT:None.
MARKINGS:None.
ITEM NOTES:This is from a United States Army Aviation patch collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VAEJX12 LGIEX8/13 SGJJX9/13
