Extremely rare Korean War United States Army 24th Division Artillery Section, Japanese-made jacket patch. The center of the fully embroidered patch depicts a cat (possibly Tom of Tom & Jerry fame) wearing a red cap, standing on a set of wheels with a spear, propeller, and 'wing' that reads "24" in yellow detail against a blue background.
VINTAGE:Circa Korean War.
SIZE:Approximately 6-1/2" in diameter.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Fully embroidered, silk/cotton/polyester thread.
MARKINGS:None.
ITEM NOTES:This is from a US Army collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. MAX16 LHIEX10/16
CONDITION:8+ (Excellent): The patch shows minor wear and soiling, the colors remain bright, overall excellent condition.
