Minty WWII USAAF Officer's Visor Cap in Fine Beaver Felt by Dobbs 5th Avenue

This is a beautiful and minty World War II United States Army Air Forces officer's visor cap in fine brown beaver felt by Dobbs Fifth Avenue. It was sold to Flight Surgeon Dr. Bascom Johnson Jr. at the Post Exchange (Turner Field) in Albany, Georgia. The hat has a shining badge and a woven band above the strap topping the visor.

Circa World War II.

Approximate size 7 or 7-1/8 (no size tag).

Fine beaver felt, cotton blend band, patent leather, leather, plated brass, cellophane, paper, silk.

Buckled strap around cap.
