Mint Set of Circa 1929-1931 Mid-Continent Air Express Cap Badge and Wing

This is a mint set of Mid-Continent Air Express cap badge and pilot wing which both read MID-CONTINENT AIR EXPRESS MAE. Mid-Continent Air Express was a short-lived (9/29-10/31) Western Air Express Subsidiary.

Circa 1929-1931.

Cap badge is curved and measures 2-9/16" by 2-3/16" and the wing is flat and measures 7/8" by 2-9/16".

Gold-plated brass with blue enamel.

Cap badge: double screw posts with disc backing; wing: horizontal pin with drop-in swivel catch.
