ARTIFACT: This is a circa mid-1930's Transcontinental & Western Air Inc. (TWA) Type I pilot's cap badge numbered 503 on reverse. The badge is the beautifully detailed head and headdress of a Native American man in profile above the Deco TWA wing.

VINTAGE: Circa 1940.

SIZE: About 2-1/2" in width by 1-13/16" in height.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Gold-plated brass.

ATTACHMENT: Double screw back.
