This is a circa mid-1930's Transcontinental & Western Air Inc. (TWA) Type I pilot's cap badge numbered 503 on reverse. The badge is the beautifully detailed head and headdress of a Native American man in profile above the Deco TWA wing.
VINTAGE:Circa 1940.
SIZE:About 2-1/2" in width by 1-13/16" in height.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Gold-plated brass.
ATTACHMENT:Double screw back.
