Description
Mid-1970's United States Marine Corps VMFA-321 "Hell's Angels" jacket patch. United States made, embroidered silk on twill. This patch was worn around the time the squadron first got the F-4 Phantom II aircraft in 197The squadron had a primary role of interception and air superiority. In June that year, VMFA-321 became the first Marine Reserve squadron to fire AIM-9 "Sidewinder" missiles.
VINTAGE:Circa mid-1970's
SIZE:Approximately 5" in height x 3-3/4" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Silk embroidered on cotton twill with gauze backing.
ATTACHMENT:To be sewn onto Flight Clothing.
