ARTIFACT: Beautiful 1930's - 1940's small, but well-made sterling and 14K gold Western buckle by Holland's of San Angelo, Texas, possibly for wear on a leather hat band. The center of the buckle shows a raised embellishment of a 14K gold-filled horse head with bridle. On either side of the horse, the buckle features nicely engraved floral images. The reverse reads: "HOLLANDS SAN ANGELO STERLING 1/20 - 14K" and displays the number "36" in the center.

VINTAGE: Circa 1930's - 1940's

SIZE: Approximately 2" x 1-1/2"

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Sterling, 14K gold-fill

ATTACHMENT: Loop and hook for attachment

MARKINGS: "HOLLANDS SAN ANGELO 36 STERLING 1/20 - 14K"

ITEM NOTES: This is from a Western collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. MBJV16 LBCEX6/16 SBJJX2/17

CONDITION: 8 (Excellent-): The buckle shows minor to moderate surface wear, nearly all the gold-fill details remain intact, overall handsome patina.
