Description
This is an old Leominster, Massachusetts "Hudson Parer Company" cast iron apple peeler patented in 188The peeler has a crank handle that manipulates two gears attached to a three-pronged spindle onto which the apple goes. Another gear turns a handle with a small slot and the end, which produces the peeling.
VINTAGE:Circa 1890s-1910s.
SIZE:Approximately 8" in height and 5-1/4" in width and 7-3/4" in depth.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Cast iron, wooden handle tip.
ATTACHMENT:Vise attachment.
