Late WWII US Navy VF-151 "The Green Knights" Fighter Squadron Jacket Patch

ARTIFACT:

This is a squadron jacket patch for the United States Navy's VF-151 Fighter Squadron (aka "The Green Knights"). The patch shows a green knight in full armor equipped with a huge lance sized arrow riding an aircraft.

VINTAGE:

Circa late World War II.

SIZE:

4-1/8" diameter.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Felt patch embroidered in multi-colored silk/cotton threads with a muslin backing.

CONDITION:

8 (Excellent-): Patch has little wear and only one spot of slight discoloration of reverse.
