Description

ARTIFACT:

This is a jacket patch for the United States Army Air Forces Air Technical Service Command in Europe (ATSCE). The patch is French-made and is in gold bullion threads. It shows a winged star that is topped by a gear labeled ATSCE.

VINTAGE:

Circa late World War II.

SIZE:

Approximately 2-11/16" in diameter.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Felt embroidered in bullion threads and silk/cotton threads, cloth backing.
