ARTIFACT: This is a jacket patch for the United States Army Air Forces Air Technical Service Command in Europe (ATSCE). The patch is French-made and is in gold bullion threads. It shows a winged star that is topped by a gear labeled ATSCE.

VINTAGE: Circa late World War II.

SIZE: Approximately 2-11/16" in diameter.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Felt embroidered in bullion threads and silk/cotton threads, cloth backing.

ATTACHMENT: None.

MARKINGS: None.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a United States Army Air Forces collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VAGEX12 LCIEX9/12 SCIEX11/12

CONDITION: 7+ (Very Fine+): The patch shows some light wear and has an overall tarnish to the bullion.
