ARTIFACT:
Great late 1930's – early WWII French 27th Combat Tank BN (27e Batallion de Chars de Combat) badge made by Arthus Bertrand. The oval shaped badge depicts a tank in the center in black detail against a white background and the outer edge shows a wreath embellishment and the bottom reads: "27 BCC" in black enameled detail.

Circa late 1930's - early WWII
SIZE:
Approximately 1-9/16" x 1-1/16"
MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION:
Enameled, silver-plated brass
ATTACHMENT:
Safety style pin with "C" type catch
MARKINGS:
Small square maker mark on pinback saddle
