ARTIFACT: This is a circa late 1970's ground crew shirt breast patch for Texas International Airlines (TIA). TIA flew from 1969 until 1982 when it merged with Continental. It was known before 1969 as Trans-Texas Airways. The patch is a white rectangle embroidered in red and blue threads.

VINTAGE: Circa late 1970's.

SIZE: Approximately 1-1/4" in height and 4-5/16" in length.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Cotton embroidered in cotton/polyester/silk thread, vinylized mesh backing.

ATTACHMENT: None.

MARKINGS: None.

ITEM NOTES: This is from an airline collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VAX13 LCDX4/13 SeVEEX02/19

CONDITION: 8 (Excellent-): The patch has very little wear.
