Description
This is a circa late 1970's Sheriff Department uniform patch for Cochise County, Arizona, the county seat of which is Bisbee. Cochise was an Apache chief who resisted white advances into his homeland. The patch is shaped like an arrowhead and has an embroidered "Indian" head and shoulders facing to the right.
VINTAGE:Circa late 1970's.
SIZE:Approximately 5-3/4" in height and 3-1/16" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Cotton/cotton blend embroidered in cotton/polyester threads, mesh backing.
ATTACHMENT:To be sewn onto garment.
