Description
This is a circa late 1960s USAF 4454th Combat Crew Training Squadron jacket patch. Operational from 1964 until 1971, the 4454th was headquartered at Davis-Monthan AFB in Arizona. The patch is embroidered upon blue twill and shows a cobra head on a white wing in the upper half and three blue wings in the lower half.
VINTAGE:Circa late 1960s.
SIZE:Approximately 4" in height and 3-3/4" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Twill embroidered in cotton/polyester threads, partial mesh backing.
ATTACHMENT:None.
MARKINGS:4454 and other numbers written on reverse.
