ARTIFACT:

This is a distinctive insignia by Susco for the United States Army 10th Field Artillery Battalion, whose motto is the "The Rock's Support". The DI is a red crest bearing two crossed cannons, a centaur and a gleaming white rock.

VINTAGE:

Circa late 1950s-early 1960s.

SIZE:

Approximately 1" in height and 13/16" in width.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Gilt brass, enamel.

ATTACHMENT:

Two posts.

MARKINGS:

SUSCO S-21.

This is from a United States Army DI collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VAL90 LABX9/13

CONDITION:

7 (Very Fine): The DI has some light wear and tarnish and has one very tiny piece of enamel missing .
