ARTIFACT:
This is a circa late 1950s Cold War era jacket patch for the United States Air Force 69th Tactical Missile Squadron. The 69th was stationed out of Hahn Air Force Base, Germany. This patch shows a plane flying over a yin-yang symbol made of one blue half and one checkerboard half.
VINTAGE:
Circa late 1950s.
SIZE:
Approximately 3-11/16" in diameter.
MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION:
Fully embroidered in cotton/polyester/silk threads,.
