ARTIFACT: This is a US Coast Guard Officer Hat Badge in gilt brass and rhodium plated sterling silver. The eagle depicted on the badge has a shield emblem and is holding an anchor in its talons. It is very well detailed.

VINTAGE: Circa WWII

SIZE: Approximately 2-3/8" x 2-5/8

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Gilt brass and rhodium plated sterling silver

ATTACHMENT: Two screwback pins

MARKINGS: Reverse: "STERLING

ITEM NOTES: This is from a US Coast Guard collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. MAJV15 LAAEX01/17 SAAEX7/18

CONDITION: 8 (Excellent): There is little to light wear on this badge. It's in excellent shape.
