ARTIFACT:
This is a locally-made sterling silver wing by Angel Zamora & Sons for Philippine Air Lines, which began operation in 1941. The wing shows a medallion center with a four-pointed star above the ocean.
VINTAGE:
Circa late 1940s.
SIZE:
Approximately 11/16" x 2-13/16".
MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION:
Sterling silver with blue enamel, brass pin.
ATTACHMENT:
Horizontal kick pin with drop-in locking catch.
MARKINGS:
STERLING ANGEL ZAMORA & SONS.
