ARTIFACT:

This is a circa 1940s French Grenoble Aviation Cadet Training wing with an appropriate illustration of a chick hatching from an egg.

VINTAGE:

Circa 1940s.

SIZE:

About 2-3/8" in width by 7/8" in height (60mm by 22mm).

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Gold-plated brass with enamel detail.

ATTACHMENT:

Horizontal safety-style pin with a simple catch and a saddle for attaching pin to wing-back.

None.
