ARTIFACT: Beautiful late 1930's Hungarian Levente (Youth Organization) Leader's Hat Badge. This badge is painted brass depicting the organization's emblem and reads "ISTEN- HAZA – KIRALY". Hungarian's youth was politically socialized into paramilitary groups trained for weapons use, their slogan was "batorsdg" or "Courage" and they were similar to Hitler's Youth.

VINTAGE: Circa 1930's

SIZE: 1 11/16" 1 6/16"

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Beautifully, enameled brass.

ATTACHMENT: Two prongs on reverse.

MARKINGS: None.
