ARTIFACT:

This is a United States Navy pilot wing by AMCRAFT. Wing shows an anchor and crest at center flanked by a pair of spread wings. The wing could have also been worn by a US Marine Corps or US Coast Guard Pilot.

VINTAGE:

Circa late 1930's - early WWII.

SIZE:

2-3/4" wing.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Gilt brass.

ATTACHMENT:

Horizontal pin with come-under locking catch.

MARKINGS:

AMCRAFT ATTLEBORO MASS.
