Description

ARTIFACT:

This is an early World War II United States Navy pilot wing (unmarked) by Blackinton in the AMCRAFT pattern. The wing has beautifully tiered feathers and shows an anchor at its center bearing a striped crest.

VINTAGE:

Circa early World War II.

SIZE:

Approximately 15/16" height and 2-3/4" width.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Gold on sterling silver.

ATTACHMENT:

Horizontal pin with come-under locking catch.

MARKINGS:

1-20-10K ON STERLING.

ITEM NOTES:

8 (Excellent-): The wing is in wonderful condition with only light wear and tarnish.
