The half wing is enameled in a rich red. It has a crown on top and shows a map of the territories of Australia at its center. This wing has a nice patina from years of polishing.
Circa late 1930s.
Approximately 1-1/16" in height and 1-7/8" in width.
MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION:
Nickel-plated brass with enamel.
Horizontal pin with C catch.
STOKES MELB (Melbourne, Australia).
This is from an airline collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. ebay VAJM12 LDGEX8/13
8- (Very Fine-Excellent): The wing shows some very small areas of light wear and tarnish and all enamel is intact.
