Description

ARTIFACT:

This is a late 1920s Ð early 1930s agent badge for Western Air Express by the American Pacific Stamp Company. Western began in 1926 and merged with Transcontinental to become TWA in 1930. The badge shows a Native American man's head at the center with a arrow extending the length of the badge.

VINTAGE:

Circa late 1920s Ð early 1930s.

SIZE:

Approximately 3/4" in height and 2-1/16" in width.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Gold-plated brass, brass pin.

ATTACHMENT:

Horizontal pin with drop-in locking swivel catch.

MARKINGS:

AM. PAC STAMP CO. LOS ANGELES.
