ARTIFACT: This is a wonderful and large officer's cap badge for the 92nd Canadian Expeditionary Forces. The 92nd served in Britain during the Great War, and disbanded in November 1918. The badge is in .925 sterling silver and was manufactured by Ellis Brothers. Encircling the head of an eagle is a belt reading DILEAS GU BRATH (Faithful forever).

VINTAGE: Circa World War I.

SIZE: Approximately 2-1/8" in diameter.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: .925 sterling silver.

ATTACHMENT: Horizontal cotter pin.

MARKINGS: STERLING ELLIS BROS. 925 two marks (R and lion).

CONDITION: 8- (Very Fine-Excellent): The badge shows very little wear and has a lovely overall light tarnish.
