ARTIFACT: Large, late 1970's United States Navy USS Kitty Hawk - CV63 jacket patch. The round patch depicts a Kitty Walk aircraft in the center against a cloud in the sky background and along the bottom it reads: "USS KITTY HAWK - CV63". The USS Kitty Hawk was built in New Jersey and was commission at the Philadelphia Naval Shipyard on April 29, 1961.

VINTAGE: Circa late 1970's

SIZE: Approximately 4-7/8" in diameter

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Fully embroidered, cotton/polyester/silk thread

ATTACHMENT: None.

MARKINGS: None.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a USN collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. MEV15 LBEX11/15

CONDITION: 8+ (Excellent): The patch shows minor wear, overall excellent condition.
