Description
This is a large and beautiful Congolese knife. The knife's blade is wide and curving and has a long, striated engraving on both sides. The handle is wood wrapped in decorative brass. The stand is included with the knife.
VINTAGE:Circa late nineteenth century Ð early twentieth century.
SIZE:Knife: approximately by 13-1/2" in length and 2-1/2" in diameter at base of handle; stand: 4" square at base.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Knife: steel, wood, brass; stand: painted steel and brass.

CONDITION:7- (Very Fine-): The knife has areas of light to medium wear and some oxidation; the covering on the handle has some gapping and slight peeling.
