Description
This is a North African knife in a wooden sheath. The blade is sharply tapered and has a fantastic raised, engraved panel on both sides. The sheath has some decorative lacing fashioned from bark or reeds. The stand is included with the knife.
VINTAGE:Circa late nineteenth century Ð early twentieth century.
SIZE:Knife (sheathed): approximately by 11" in length and 3-1/4" in width; stand: 6" x 3".
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Knife: steel, wood; sheath: wood, twine; stand: painted steel and brass.
