This is a large 1940's uniform patch for Eastern Air Lines in flocked felt. The patch shows the bold crimson Eastern bird flying against a two-toned sky and reads THE GREAT SILVER FLEET along the border.
VINTAGE:Circa 1940's.
SIZE:Approximately 6-13/16" in diameter.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Flocked felt.

CONDITION:8 (Excellent-): The patch still has bright coloring and only very light wear.
