This is an early 1940s shoulder patch for Eastern Air Lines. The patch is embroidered on twill and shows the bold crimson Eastern bird flying against a two-toned sky.
VINTAGE:Circa early 1940s.
SIZE:Approximately 2-13/16" in height and 2-5/8" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Twill embroidered in cotton/silk threads with mesh backing.
ITEM NOTES:The patch you receive will either be the one pictured or one in similar condition. This is from an airline collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VFX10 LABEX12/18
CONDITION:7+ (Very Fine+): The patch shows some minor fading and areas of light wear.
