Large, beautiful 1930's Humboldt County, California Special Deputy Sheriff Badge by LA Stamp and Stationery Co. The handsomely detailed badge reads: "HUMBOLDT COUNTY" in the center and surrounding it reads: "SPECIAL DEPUTY SHERIFF" in blackened lettering. The reverse shows a nice maker's mark that reads: "L.A. STAMP & STY. CO. L.A. CAL.".

Circa second half, of the1930's.

Approximately 2-1/2" x 2-1/4".

Nickel plated nickel and black paint.

Vertical safety style pin with open catch.
