ARTIFACT: Great, large 1930's Deerfield, New Hampshire Volunteer Fire Association Member Badge #12. The round center of the badge features a brass, large and raised number 12 and surrounding it reads: "DEERFIELD, N. H. VOL. FIRE ASSO." and the top of the badge features a lovely, detailed spread wing eagle clutching a banner in his beak which reads: "MEMBER". It is likely that the badge was originally issued in 1932.

VINTAGE: Circa 1930's

SIZE: Approximately 2 _" x 1 5/8"

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Brass, nickel plated brass, black paint

ATTACHMENT: Vertical pin with a drop in tension locking hinge clasp.

MARKINGS: None.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a fire and rescue collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VBEX14 LAAEX6/15 SAAEX7/15

CONDITION: 6+ (Fine&emdash;Very Fine): Badge shows moderate to heavy wear mostly on high points, much of the plating and painted details remain intact.
