ARTIFACT: 1920's - 1930's Portsmouth, New Hampshire fire department badge #7 by C. D. Reese in New York. The center of the badge shows a raised number: "7" and surrounding it reads: "PORTSMOUTH FIRE DEPT. N. H.", top features an eagle with spread wings and a bowed head. The reverse shows a maker's mark that reads: "C. D. REESE 57 WARREN ST. NEW YORK".

VINTAGE: Circa 1920's - 1930's.

SIZE: Approximately 2-3/4z" in height x 1-7/8" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Nickel plated nickel, black paint.

ATTACHMENT: Vertical kick pin with 'C' style catch.

MARKINGS: "C. D. REESE 57 WARREN ST. NEW YORK"

ITEM NOTES: This is from a fire fighting and rescue collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. RAJV3/92 CON-RLB-16 LAGEX4/16 RET04/22/21

CONDITION: 8- (Very Fine - Excellent): The badge shows minor to moderate wear, much of the plating and painted details remain intact.
