ARTIFACT:

This is a circa 1930s or 1940s "Empire State New York Postmaster" promotional celluloid badge. The badge is large and possibly promoting the New York NAPUS (National Association of Postmasters of the United States) chapter publication of the same name.

VINTAGE:

Circa 1930s-1940s.

SIZE:

Approximately 2-15/16" in diameter.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Celluloid-wrapped tin.

ATTACHMENT:

Horizontal safety-style pin.
