This is a large circa 1890s oval cabinet photograph of a Revere, Massachusetts policeman. This young officer is wearing a radiator-style badge and a "Bobby-style" police helmet with a hat badge numbered 8The back of the photo has a stamp of the hometown studio that did the portrait.
