Description
ARTIFACT:
This is a 14 karat Gold and Silk membership badge for the National Society of the United States Daughters of 1812 with ancestor bars, Association of Presidents pin and Massachusetts Ex-Registrar pin. A star-shaped blue enamel pendant hangs from a blue and grey ribbon. The society was begun in 1892 as a sorority for women with ancestors who served in either the military or civil service or materially aided the United States military from 1784-181The planchet of the badge / medal is marked with 2 Society numbers: 11227 & 173.

Circa 1910-1919.

7-1/2" in height x 1-3/8" in width.

14 karat gold with blue enamel pin with blue and grey silk ribbon.
ATTACHMENT:
Horizontal pin with Tiffany-style catch.

7 (Very Fine): Ribbon is slightly worn but there is just very light wear on the pin.
