Korean War USAF 7th Fighter Squadron 49th Fighter Group Beer Mug

This is a Korean War beer mug for the United States Air Force 7th Fighter Squadron, 49th Fighter Group. The mug has a crackled appearance and a curved handle. One side reads SCREAMIN' DEMONS H. D. HALL and shows the fearsome head of a "bunyip", a mythical man-eating creature from aboriginal folklore, complete with bloodstained fangs and claws. The reverse shows a crest for the 49th and reads TUTOR ET ULTOR (Protect and Avenge).

Circa Korean War.

Approximately 3-7/8" height and 5" width.

Ceramic.
