ARTIFACT: This is a Japanese-made souvenir beer mug from the United States Army 1st Cavalry, 71st Armored Division. The front of the mug bears the tank insignia and the reverse shows a horse coat of arms.

VINTAGE: Circa Korean War.

SIZE: Approximately 4-5/16" height and 5-1/8" width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Ceramic.

ATTACHMENT: N/A.

MARKINGS: KYOKUTO CHINA with maker's mark and a faded stamp beginning with R.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a United States Army collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. CON-BC-CEX09 LAAEX9/10 SAAEX10/14

CONDITION: 6+ (Fine-Very Fine-): Mug has a few small spots of wear and a fair amount of foxing (looks like dark liquid has seeped in the crazing about halfway around bottom of mug.
