ARTIFACT: This is a Korean War coffee mug from the United States 84th Troop Carrier Squadron, 487th Troop Carrier Group with the Far East Air Force. The squadron was part of the 287 flew C-46 and C-119 aircraft at the beginning of the war and participated in the airborne assault on Munsan-ni in March 1951. They were stationed at Brady Air Force Base in Japan from November 1950 - June 1952. The mug shows a fantastically detailed dragon with the name PATTY above and reads 84th T. C. SQ. KYUSHU JAPAN on reverse.

VINTAGE: Circa Korean War.

SIZE: Approximately 3-15/16" in height and 4-7/8" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Ceramic.

CONDITION: 6+ (Fine-Very Fine): Mug has a few hairline cracks and some spots of discoloration in the inside bottom.
