ARTIFACT: This is a Korean War era US Army/USAAF Colonel "War Eagle" overseas rank insignia, made by Luxenberg. The eagle depicted is holding arrows, and facing the same direction as the heads of the arrows in its grasp. The fact that the eagle is facing the same direction as the arrows means that this insignia was used during the time of war.

VINTAGE: Circa Korean War.

SIZE: Approximately 3/4" in height x 1-7/8" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Nickel plated Brass.

ATTACHMENT: Horizontal pin with come under locking catch.

MARKINGS: "LUXENBERG. NEW YORK."

ITEM NOTES: This is from a USAF Insignia collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VAX17 LFEX02/17

CONDITION: 5 (Very Good - Fine): It's got a "salty" look to it, the pin is bent and loose.
