Description
This is a circa 1951-1952 (Korean War era) United States Army 6th Medical Depot NCO open mess lighter by Firefly. Platoons from the 6th spread out from Pusan to serve in many areas above and below the 38th parallel. The lighter has a nice applied caduceus on one side and a Korean map on the other. It also has a wind shield, which is shown both raised and lowered in the photos above.
VINTAGE:Circa Korean War (1951-1952).
SIZE:Approximately 2-1/8" in height and 1-3/4" in width and 9/16" in thickness.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Chrome-plated brass, brass.
