Description

ARTIFACT:

This is a Korean War era Zippo lighter engraved in-country to the United States Army 443rd Quartermaster Depot. The soldier's name (A.C. Fate) is engraved beneath KOREA 54-55, as well as a dragon and the 8th Army and US Forces Far East insignia.

VINTAGE:

Circa 1954-1955.

SIZE:

Approximately 2-1/4" height and 1-3/16" width and 1/2" in thickness.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Chrome-plated steel.

ATTACHMENT:

Hinge.

MARKINGS:

ZIPPO MFG. CO. BRADFORD PA ZIPPO MADE IN USA PAT. 2517191 ยจ PAT. PEND. on bottom.
