Knights' Templar Pilgrim Commandery, No. 9, Lowell, Massachusetts Badge from 1919 Conclave

This is a Knights' Templar Pilgrim Commandery, No. 9 badge from Lowell, Massachusetts. Styled upon the ancient group of warrior-gentlemen who protected Christian travelers to the holy Land, the Knights Templar is a modern-day fraternal society under the umbrella of Masonry. The badge is a beautifully enameled Knight's Cross and was worn at the 24th Triennial Conclave in September 1919 at Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. This badge was recently purchased from a man who was breaking up his Lowell collection, and came to us along with a Lowell Knights' Templar badge (please see link at bottom of page for more information - sold separately).

Circa 1919.

Approximately 2-1/2" in height and 1-1/2" in width.

Gilt brass, enamel.

Horizontal pin with tongue-style catch, suspension ring.
