This is a Japanese-made patch for the United States Navy's USS Henry Clay SSBN-625, a ballistic missile submarine. The patch is circular and shows a missile headed skyward above a globe and a pair of fish. The patch reads PRESERVATIO AB NATIO USS HENRY CLAY SSBN 625.
VINTAGE:Circa 1960s.
SIZE:5 diameter.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Fully embroidered patch with multi-colored silk/polyester/cotton threads.
MARKINGS:Original label attached: ACE NOVELTY BOX 1374 TOKYO JAPAN.
