This is a 1970's Japanese-made patch for the United States Navy's USS Henry Clay SSBN-625, a ballistic missile submarine. The patch is circular and shows a missile headed skyward above a globe and a pair of fish. The patch reads PRESERVATIO AB NATIO.
VINTAGE:Circa 1970's.
SIZE:Approximately 5-1/8" in diameter.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Fully embroidered in cotton/polyester threads.
