This is a Japanese-made patch for the United States Naval Support Activities Detachment at An Thoi, Vietnam, in its original cellophane package. It reads APL 21 (a non-self-propelled barracks ship) NAV SUPP ACTI DET ANTHOI VIETNAM and shows two ships crossing in front of an apple.
VINTAGE:Circa Vietnam War.
SIZE:3" diameter.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Red and blue fully-embroidered patch in cotton/silk/polyester threads.
MARKINGS:Original packaging reads KASAMAKI & CO. LTD. CENTRAL P.O. BOX 1625 TOKYO, JAPAN UNIFORM INSIGNIA AND ACCESSORIES MADE IN JAPAN.
